POSITION: Facility Attendant
GENERAL SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the general supervision of the facility coordinator, performs a variety of maintenance and cleaning related duties, as well as assists the manager on duty with general supervision of facility and it's programs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintains a clean and safe environment for patrons and staff.
Responsible for daily and nightly cleaning of facility.
Responsible for completing all tasks as listed on Maintenance Sheet.
Communicates all information verbally and written to supervisor.
Executes policies and procedures professionally and accurately.
Communicates accurate and professional information to patrons.
Responsible for completing all other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Assists manager on duty with supervision of programs and activities.
Responsible for attending staff meetings and trainings.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Employee will work in facility as a facility attendant. This can involve, but is not limited to: sitting, standing, walking, running, stooping, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling. Job responsibilities will be performed in a standard recreational facility setting.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed in several environments:
An office setting.
A retail setting.
A food-service setting.
Indoors and outdoors.
MACHINES AND EQUIPMENT USED:
Standard office equipment which includes: fax/copy machine, telephone: facility maintenance equipment which includes: floor scrubber, vacuum, broom, mop, sprayers and disinfectors, hoses, chemicals for the purpose of cleaning and disinfecting, power drill, power saw, ladders, and basic hand tools.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/ JOB STANDARDS:
None.
POSITION: Scorekeeper (all sports)
GENERAL SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the general supervision of O.D.'s management, responsible for knowing and enforcing all the laws and rules of the game, and in addition, knowing and enforcing all the rules and regulations set forth by O.D.'s Sports Crossing.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for keeping games on time.
Responsible for assisting referees in keeping rink free of debris.
Assists referees in checking player equipment and eligibility before games.
Must write incident reports on any fights, threats, disciplinary penalties, and injuries that may occur during games.
Notifies referees of any sit-outs in game book before the start of game.
Operates scoreboard and records player statistics on stats sheet.
Keeps accurate "shots on goal" statistics.
Cleans scorekeeper, penalty, and player boxes nightly.
Responsible for finding substitute for shifts unable to work.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
None.
POSITION: Hockey Referee
GENERAL SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the general supervision of O.D.'s management, responsible for knowing and enforcing all the laws and rules of the game, and in addition, knowing and enforcing all the rules and regulations set forth by O.D.'s Sports Crossing.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for starting games on time.
Responsible for ensuring that the rink is free of debris and all gates are shut before starting play.
Responsible for enforcing all rules in an impartial and professional manner.
Responsible for keeping games safe and in control.
Most look, dress, and act professional.
Must check player equipment every game to ensure safety and legality of participants.
Must write incident reports for any fights, threats, misconduct penalties, or damages to facility.
Must check for sit-outs in game book before start of every game.
Notify manager on duty of any fights, threats, or damages that occur in writing the day of incident.
Must attend one clinic a year for inline referees.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
All referees must be at least 14 years of age and be an accredited USA Inline referee.
POSITION: Soccer Referee
GENERAL SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the general supervision of O.D.'s management, responsible for knowing and enforcing all the laws and rules of the game, and in addition, knowing and enforcing all the rules and regulations set forth by O.D.'s Sports Crossing.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
